Position Description: Greet patients and guests, responding to questions or requests. Obtain patient and insurance information for system entry and encounter forms. As the cashier, request payment of all current and previous amounts due at the time of service. Posts payments received at time of service and balances personal batch at the end of the day. Insures that all telephone calls are answered promptly. Schedules appointments and follow-up appointments, orders tests, and coordinates referrals according to specified guidelines.
Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED or relevant experience preferred but not required. CPR Certification. Experience in a medical office, hospital or long-term care facility preferred. Good communication skills and pleasant phone technique.
