Nursing Education
The Woodlawn Hospital Nursing Education Department offers services to patients, families and the community through support groups, certification courses and educational presentations. The department coordinates and provides instruction for American Heart certifications and outpatient diabetic education, and also serves as a resource to staff by assisting in the development and implementation of inpatient teaching.American Heart Certifications

Healthcare Provider
Healthcare Provider Courses for those needing certification or re-certification in Adult, Child, and Infant CPR with AED use and Foreign Airway Body ObstructionPart 1 will need to be taken online at American Heart Association for $28.50. Call (574) 224-1268 or send an email to schedule a time to complete Parts 2 and 3 with a certified AHA instructor. Completion of parts 1, 2 and 3, must be within 60 days. Please schedule an appointment with a certified AHA instructor prior to completing Part 1. An additional $20 per person will be paid to Woodlawn Hospital for Parts 2 and 3 and card processing.
