Woodlawn Hospital's Housekeeping department provides a clean and sanitary environment for our patients, visitors and staff.

Housekeeping plays a vital role in combating healthcare associated infections by maintaining all clinical and non-clinical areas in the hospital according to national cleaning specifications. In addition to their normal cleaning processes and chemicals they use, each housekeeper is trained in blood-borne pathogens, infection control techniques and personal protective equipment.

Our Housekeeping staff takes care of everything from mopping floors, washing walls, spot cleaning carpeting, washing windows, collecting linen throughout the facility, and purchasing and inventory control of housekeeping supplies. Daily housekeeping duties include cleaning patient rooms, offices, restrooms, clinics, diagnostic areas and operating rooms.

Housekeeping services are provides Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 11:30 pm and weekends from 7:00 am to 11:30 pm.
